As the Proctor Companies National Sales Director, you’ll sell and manage concession stand/box office/in-theatre restaurant construction projects throughout North America. This is a senior position. You must have foodservice experience to be considered.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

As a Proctor Companies Project Manager, you are on the front lines; you are the face of Proctor. To succeed, you’ll need to make difficult decisions autonomously, manage projects with perseverance and tenacity, negotiate client relationships with diplomacy and confidence, and consistently deliver extraordinary results. To qualify for this position, you must have foodservice experience.
Develops and manages foodservice construction projects from design through completion.
Acts as project liaison between Design, Estimating, Purchasing, Shipping, and Accounting; manages third party vendors; serves as point person for Project Team, Management and client.
Conducts field measurements to ensure proper equipment specifications and installation; manages and approves custom fabrication; makes adjustments to plans, schedule, budget and logistics as necessary; submits regular updates to the Electronic Project File.
Design Phase: Collaborates with clients and designers to resolve problems based on customer input and prior project experience.
Estimating Phase: Confers with Estimating to resolve design issues based on customer input and prior project experience; defines project scope for Estimating to ensure accuracy in pre-bid phase.
Fabrication Phase: Schedules field measurements in conjunction with Sales, client and contractor; manages scheduling, design, shop drawing review, quality control, and shipping.
Installation Phase: Coordinates installation with contractors; provides technical advice to resolve problems to ensure the project progresses on time and on budget; coordinates with Project Team and Shipping to schedule shipments and logistics; prepares installation packages for installers including drawings, site contact names and numbers, and assembly of job stack hardware packages.
Project Follow-up: Schedules repair and warranty work including labor, material and shipping to ensure punch list completion.
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
- 3+ years experience in foodservice industry
- 3+ years experience in cabinetry/millwork (preferred)
- 3+ years experience with project management (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, perform take-offs, and identify conflicts.
- Ability to read Autoview (AutoCAD desk view)
- Microsoft Office
