CONTROLLER
Job Summary
As a key position within the management team, the Controller plans and directs the accounting operations and overall financial management of the company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, procedures and guidelines for accounting, cash/credit management, administration, and compliance
- Direct and execute accounting operations, produce periodic reports, and maintain financial records
- Manage A/P, A/R, payroll
- Develop budgets and forecasts
- Advise management in commercial and financial matters
- Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement, investments, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Prepare/present GAAP-compliant financial reports and risk analyses
- Prepare and file sales tax forms and tax returns
- Assist with banking and vendors relationships
- Reconcile credit card and bank statements
- Maintain the general ledger
- Assist with financial relations with tenants
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance (CPA preferred but not required)
- Five or more years’ experience in accounting/related field
- Understanding of Construction Job Costing: the real-time tracking of all costs associated with a job, including labor, materials, and overhead
- Experience with MS Office and construction related accounting software
- Knowledge of federal tax regulations and reporting

- Salary range: $60,000 to $85,000, based on experience.
- This is potentially a hybrid position located in Littleton, Colorado.
